More than a reflection tool, the Math is Me journal is a practice that helps students build a healthy relationship with math, strengthen their performance, and feel part of a community that honors both emotional growth and mathematical learning. Students’ reflections can also become bulletin boards, gallery walks, and class discussions—making math identity and sense-making visible across the room.
